Kylie shook hands with them when they came down from stage several times and she was so excited...only thing is that mommy was only using the phone's camera :( so many pictures were blur.

The day before we took her to her first movie "Over the Hedge" to see how she might react. The popcorn kept her busy for the first half hour and then she got bored. Wanted to turn around and look at other children in the theatre. But since she didn't have her afternoon nap, i coaxed her in my lap and she slept till end of movie. i don't think i will try another movie till she is much older.

For some reason, kylie did not want to go school today….
Yesterday night, cried to stay at home today.
At first say because nose bleed….not well…must stay home
(Yesterday morning had a nose bleed b4 school)
Then I ask her is it children bully…no….is it teacher scold...yes…
She say kylie stay at home tommorrow…
Then she say kylie go shopping….
i say ok..daddy bring you go shopping….
She say mommy and kylie go shopping
Then I told her mommy have to work….
Then she insist on mommy and kylie shopping…
So I told her, mommy no work, no money, then no money buy kylie toys
Then she say, ok mommy work, kylie new toy
Then I ask her what new toy….she say water gun….sign…..
But I let her stay at home today

Think I need another excuse to go to work other than need money to buy new toys…or else never ending story :D

Kylie's Day Surgery - Adenoldectomy - 8 May 2006

One of Kylie's most frightening experience so far.
I packed her favourite small pooh bear, 2 story books, favourite pillow, waffer biscuit and dutchmill, extra pyjamas. We arrived hospital at 6:30 am...
My heart broke when i carried her to the operating theatre and she cried when the nurses tried to put the gas mask on her. She slept with tears rolling down her face.
After the surgery, she was so afraid of sleeping even though she was drowsy. She ask to sleep on our shoulders. She vommited once....excess blood from the op...and couldn't breath at all except through her mouth. This continued for several days and it was very heartbreaking to see her suffering. She even ask not to go to school.

This is what the nurses did to keep her occupied.

Kylie the Princess

I let her wear this dress for weddings. She loves to put it on and goes "wahh..beautiful".


Some recent accomplishment: not quite there yet..still can't hold the pencil right but she gives a good try (with some gentle scolding from mom of course). She can cut a straight line now....am trying with other shapes...ok for the triangle and rectangle. ps..mom cut the circle. Can speak abit more now...but mostly from lines from DVD or from her books.
She still demands to be carried...but refuses to hold hands when she comes down to walk. I can't figure out if this is emotional insecurity or pure laziness.


On the 7th Dec i took her to Barney's Musical Castle 2005. She enjoyed the show and ate snacks non stop throughout. Daddy waited outside. Think that was nice.

Hello all,

Even though the fact that i am an IT consultant, i hardly use the internet.

I guess i should introduce my family.



My birthday just passed 4 days ago. Raymond bought me a diamond ring from SooKee. Too big though. Strange...this is the first ring i recieved from him, being married since '98. We went to Bugis, ate at Aijisen Dinning and i brought Kylie to play in Seiyu while he secretly went to buy the ring. Kinda of sweet.
