Hong Kong Trip 4-8 September 2006
4 Sep 2006
We took SQ860 8:30am flight to Hong Kong. Arrived there in noon. Took the Airport Express to Kowloon and then a cab to Prudential Hotel (Jorden MRT). Hotel is clean, with a bathtub. Kylie was happy with her portable toilet seat. She jumped on the two beds until she was exhausted. Night time, we walk to temple street. She was happy when she bought a Xylophone. After that we went grocery shopping for mineral water and snacks and some sweets and cakes.

Hong Kong Disneyland
We took MRT all the way very convenient.
The weather was good. And the place was clean, toilets were air-conditioned.
Kylie could sit on many of the rides.
Dun miss the parade and the fireworks.

6 Sep 2006
Ocean Park
we took MRT to Admiralty then bus 629. We ended up on the higher land of ocean park.
Toilets not so clean. I would recommend bring a small towel hanky and mosquito repellent. Most of the rides are not meant for children below 122cm.
So she only sat the boat ride (will get refreshingly wet...but dries off quickly),ferris wheel and those found in kid's world. We failed to find any air-conditioned resturant but managed to cool off in Marine Land. Unfortunately, regret missing the Sea jelly Spectacular due to lack of time. We found out that kylie was so interested in jelly fish during the fish market on the last night. We also missed the go-cart because we thought it was closed.

7 Sep 2006
New Town Plaza
I took Kylie to Sha Tin to see Snoopy's World - a playground on top of the shopping center. It rained abit so we didn't sit the boat ride. She jumped on the Thomas and friend float and played in toys'r'us. She only managed to play at the Snoopy playground in the later evening.

8 Sep 2006

We went to Temple street , then ladies street and finally fish market.

Sesame Street Live - 23 June 2006

Kylie shook hands with them when they came down from stage several times and she was so excited...only thing is that mommy was only using the phone's camera :( so many pictures were blur.

The day before we took her to her first movie "Over the Hedge" to see how she might react. The popcorn kept her busy for the first half hour and then she got bored. Wanted to turn around and look at other children in the theatre. But since she didn't have her afternoon nap, i coaxed her in my lap and she slept till end of movie. i don't think i will try another movie till she is much older.
